The Kia Sportage Lands the AutoPacific 2017 Ideal Vehicle Award

What's your ideal vehicle? Is it capable? Spacious? Comfortable? Sporty? Sounds like you're describing the new Kia Sportage. And there are plenty of people who agree. In fact, the Sportage is the winner of the AutoPacific 2017 Ideal Vehicle Award. Get ready for your ideal drive through Calgary.

AutoPacific surveyed 54,000 new vehicle owners and asked about 15 key categories that they'd like to change about their vehicles. The vehicle with the lowest number of preferred changes is the winner of the Ideal Vehicle Award. That vehicle is the new Kia Sportage.

It's not all that surprising. After all, the 2.0-litre turbocharged engine can produce up to 237 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Couple that power with the available Dynamax Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system, and the Sportage is ready for the impending winter in Airdrie, Chestermere, Okotoks, and Langdon.

You'll also find plenty of safety features that help you watch the road. Like Lane Departure Warning, which will alert you if you start to drift into another lane. And Autonomous Emergency Braking, which will automatically apply the brakes if an imminent frontal collision is detected. The bottom line: we want you safe.
