Follow These Steps to Charger Your Car's Battery

At South Trail Kia, we want our Calgary, AB consumers to be informed vehicle owners. There are a number of reasons why your battery can lose its charge, which include leaving an interior light on or leaving your headlights on. If your battery dies, then you can easily recharge it with these steps.

First, you will need to find where the positive and negative terminals are on the battery. Be sure that the battery charger is unplugged from the wall and attach the red clamp of the battery charger to the positive terminal. The black clamp should be attached to the negative terminal. Once you have made certain the clamps are securely in place, you can plug in the battery charger and turn it on.

If you continue to have issues with your battery, it is best to have it inspected by one of our service technicians. It could be that there is a problem with the electrical system.
