The 2024 EV9 line-up has four trims (Wind RWD, Land AWD, Land AWD Premium Pkg, and Land AWD GT-Line Pkg). The entry-level Wind RWD has a standard rear-mounted 99.8 kWh battery with the most extended driving range at 480 km. You can expect up to 200 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque.
Both upper AWD models have 283kWh batteries and dual motors producing (283kWh) 379 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. The performance GT-Line Pkg trim has more power with 516 lb-ft of torque and a driving range of 391 km.
The EV9's interior offers space for up to seven occupants for extended road trips to summer holiday destinations in Alberta. The interior design is sleek and modern, with a heated steering wheel and multi-seven-zone climate control as standard. An intelligent power liftgate and 19-inch wheels are also included.
The GT-Line has some nifty added design elements. You'll get 21-inch dark colour wheels and GT-Line design elements. These design elements include gunmetal skid plates, bumper garnishes, and an exclusive bumper design.
You also get additional interior features when you purchase the GT-Line. Quilted synthetic leather seats with exclusive seat designs and second-row captain's chairs are standard.
Kia included many innovations within the EV9's design. Kia Connect with Navi on a 12.3-inch infotainment screen is a standard feature in the Wind RWD. You can also enjoy a wireless phone charger and a 5-inch segment display with an eight-speaker sound system.
The GT-Line has ambient interior lighting and a Meridian 14-speaker premium sound system to ensure exceptional entertainment during your drive.
The EV9 features Kia's Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. Standard active driver-assist and collision-avoidance systems are part of the package.
The GT-Line Has a 12-inch heads-up display system for added safety while driving. A digital rearview mirror in the GT-Line will also ensure that you have fewer blind spots and get a broader view of the road in the rear or when you reverse park your SUV.
