South Trail Kia
The Telluride has always been a firm favourite in the three-row SUV segment since its first introduction in 2020. Some may even argue that it’s the best SUV that Kia has ever produced. We expect that critics will keep the SUV’s top rating with the 2023 model coming to showroom floors with the availability of two new ‘adventure ready’ trims with unique features.
Additionally, buyers can look forward to an updated luxurious interior, enormous cabin and cargo space, and technology features that’ll rival even the best opulent SUV brands. All this will be included with an affordable price and a great warranty from the manufacturer. We reviewed the 2023 Kia Telluride changes and new trims to bring you this complete review.

You'll be able to buy the SUV in five trims. Kia has introduced two additional trims to the 2023 line-up of models. The X-Pro ($62,595), X-Line ($60,995), SX Limited ($58,995), SX ($54,995), and EX ($49,995).
The new trims making their debut are the 2023 Kia Telluride X-Line and the X-Pro. These trims are geared more toward off-roading enthusiasts. Both models come standard with enhanced traction control. Each new trim has an increased height of 21.33cm and slightly higher roof rails with a unique grille.
The 2023 Kia Telluride X-Pro gets additional upgrades, including 45.7cm all-terrain tires, and can tow an impressive maximum weight of 2,495kg. The X-Line comes equipped with 50.8cm Exclusive X-Line alloy wheels.
All trims have an automatic eight-speed transmission 3.8L V6 that can kick out 262 lb-ft of torque and 291hp and can zip from zero to 100km/h in 7.5 seconds. The EX, SX, and SX Limited can haul a maximum load of 2,268kg. You have the option to upgrade from FWD to AWD.
The dashboard gets a nip and tuck, and a new steering wheel and controls are easy to understand and reach. In addition, you’ll get a 31.24cm touchscreen, an instrument panel, and a six-speaker sound system as standard.
You’ll be able to fit adults in the third row comfortably, and driving visibility is excellent. In addition, the outside of the SUV received a retouch in the front and back. The grille has been enlarged, and the design has been updated to a dual bar.
One of our favourite driver safety aids is the advanced cruise control. This technology allows the vehicle to stop and go in traffic, and it’ll change lanes when the driver activates the turn signal.
The intelligent speed warning system will alert you of changing traffic speeds and slow down the vehicle in certain instances. Other safety technologies include a safe-exit assist system, a highway-drive assist system, and a blind-spot monitor.
