LX FWD ($23,695) and LX ($25,695)

The entry-level trim can be purchased in a front-wheel drive 2.0-litre engine capable of producing a maximum horsepower of 146 and a maximum of 132 lb-ft of torque. The estimated fuel economy for the FWD in the city is 8.2L/100km and 7.1L/100km on the highway. Upgrading to the LX will get you AWD. The approximate fuel economy for the AWD is 8.8L/100km in the city and 7.6L/100km on the highway.

Seats are cloth and can be folded 60/40. The front seats are heated, and there’s more than enough space for large adults to get comfy, and you get a massive cargo capacity of 753.2L. You get a whole lot of standard technology features, including a six-speaker sound system, a USB port, Bluetooth, mobile phone integration, drive mode select, cruise control, air conditioning and a 20.32cm infotainment touchscreen.

Kia always includes a host of safety driver aids in their vehicles. The 2023 Seltos is no different. You’ll get the following systems: downhill brake control, tire pressure monitoring, rear-cross traffic alert, a rear-view camera, blind-spot collision warning, and hill assist control.

EX FWD ($25,995) and EX ($28,295)

The only difference between these two 2023 Kia Seltos models is the AWD system in the EX. Both trims have added upgrades to the lower two models, including a sunroof, simulated seats, a rear centre armrest, a leather-wrapped and heated steering wheel, and a driver’s seat that’s height adjustable.

EX Premium ($31,595)

This adds more upgrades to previous models, including roof rails, a tilting steering wheel, front ventilated seats, wireless phone charging, a 26cm infotainment touchscreen, satellite radio, smart cruise control, and highway drive assist. Upgraded safety systems consist of blind-spot collision avoidance, lane-follow assist, lane-keeping assist, and advanced forward collision-avoidance assist.

SX Turbo ($33,695)

This model is available in a more powerful dual-clutch seven-speed automatic 1.6-litre engine that produces considerably more torque at 195 lb-ft and 175 horsepower. You can expect to get approximately 9.4L/100km in the city and 7.9L/100km driving on the highway under usual driving conditions. Under testing conditions, the turbo engine zipped from zero to 100km/h in 8.1 seconds.

Other upgrades include heated rear seats, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a safe exit assist system, and 45.72cm alloy wheels.
