Exterior Design

This year the Forte's exterior gets a fresh new look. It now has new front and rear bumpers and also has a new grille design. The grille features a unique shape and is offered in black with chrome highlights or black with vibrant red highlights to give it a more stunning appearance. The headlights have also been redesigned and now feature halogen lamps. There is also standard LED daytime running lamps to help ensure that other drivers can clearly see the car when driving down the road. 

To help match your individual style, the Forte is offered in a wide range of bold exterior colours, which include Radian Red, Orange, Delight, Hyper Blue, and Aurora Black.

Interior Comfort

The Forte has a sporty and elegant interior design. The cabin features spacious seating for up to five people and provides plenty of legroom for both the front and the backseat passengers. 

The cabin is adorned in a mixture of soft cloth fabric and elegant leather. The standard heated front seats come standard with a soft cloth fabric. But you can find genuine leather on the gear shift knob and leather is also available on the steering wheel. There are also several other luxurious features available including a dual-zone automatic climate control system and available ventilated front seats.

Technology and Connectivity

The 2022 Forte comes standard with a large 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display. However, if you are looking for something a little bigger, there is an available 10.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display as well. Both displays come standard with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth connectivity options. The larger infotainment display also adds a built-in navigation system as well.  

There is also a standard 4.2-inch colour screen that is positioned in between the two instrument gauges and allows the driver to view important information quickly. Other convenience features, such as a wireless phone charger, are available.

Safety Features

The 2022 Forte comes with a wide range of standard safety equipment. Some of the features that you can find across all models include:

Power and Performance

The 2022 Forte offers two powerful engine options to choose from. The standard 2.0-litre4- cylinder engine is able to deliver up to 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. This engine comes standard with a 6-speed manual transmission, but an intelligent variable transmission (IVT) is available. 

The GT Limited model comes with a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine that is paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and is able to deliver 201 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque.
