Standard or available entertainment features found on this year's Forte include Kia's UVO infotainment system featuring an 8-inch touch-screen display, UVO eServices, and voice recognition. The available eight-speaker, 320 Watt Harman Kardon premium audio system with Clari-Fi, features an integrated subwoofer. Every Forte infotainment system also comes with Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free calling and music streaming, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

Every new Forte comes with a 3.5-metre Driver Information Centre Display, steering-wheel-mounted cruise controls, and a rear-camera display. An available Smart Key remote lets drivers remotely start or stop the engine, as well as lock and unlock the Forte's doors with the touch of a button.

 

Exceptional Performance

All Forte models come with a Turbocharged 1.6 liter, inline 4-cylinder engine. Transmission options (trim dependant) include a six-speed manual, an automatic Intelligent Variable Transmission with Sportmatic, or a 7-Speed Dual-Clutch Automatic Transmission (DCT) with Paddle Shifters (GT trims). The new Forte gets exceptional fuel economy at 8.6/6.4 L/100km (city/highway) for the LX MT equipped with a manual transmission, and 7.7/5.9 L/100km (city/highway) for both versions of the automatic transmission.
